What is Microfilm
Microfilm
simply allows the user to film a
document and store it for later retrieval
and
review. Microfilm can be used for
conventional record-keeping programs
to provide
space savings and security, as well
as, for micro publishing, to publish
and distribute information much faster
and less expensively or to replace
or supplement impact printers in
your computer
operations.
How does This Happen? The
camera takes a picture of the document
and transfers the image to film which
is processed either on microfiche or
roll film. The customer is then issued
their processed film (microfiche or
rollfilm, with duplicates for back-up
and they have immediate access to documents.
